    jollymummy - they're brilliant :T

So much on here I meant to do and didn't get around to it
I've got a Laura Ashley cardigan (charity shop find years ago) that's washed a bit 'thick.............be ideal to make into a bag I think and maybe I could use the sleeves for leg warmers ?
Vinyl records melted into a bowl -ideal for my music mad sons

Surprising what you can find around the house once you start looking.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Can't wait to sort out what I've got sitting around the house that's doing nothing useful.............really must have a bit of a de-clutter before I can see what I've got (though have eye balled couple of smallish shoe boxes that a bit of nice paper would liven up a bit for gift boxes.)
Friend of mind sent for a load of 'freebies' during the year and popped them into a little basket ............now there's something I could do with a gravy tub..........turn it into a sort of mini 'pamper tub'...................lol:rotfl:

Thanks for this. Will have to get myself a hot glue gun, been saying it for years. Will be looking out for some of the flat shoes when the summer sales start.

While looking at mini scrapbooking sites, I came across this idea for using old 45 records:

You could put 'music related' scrapbooking things in it apparently. Quite like the idea of using it to put song lyrics in it.

I would only feel comfortable wrecking a record that was REALLY BAD though! :rotfl:

qwiksave - brilliant idea !! Oh I've loads of ideas for that.............my Dad was professional drummer in the days of big band jazz and I've loads of photos of him I'm sure my kids would love to have if they were done this way...............one son is a Beatles fanatic.....so there's another idea............only problem is........hole punching.........don't have a hole puncher :( Is there any other way of making the holes ?

    Um....that is a tricky one Mary! I wouldn't dare suggest a nail and a hammer on a record so I won't! :rotfl:

EDITED TO ADD: Spotted this! Says it does 'plastics', wonder whether it would work? Free postage until 12pm tonight! (Don't blame me if it doesn't though!)
