Triker - can you drag Pigpen to the dentist? Or maybe bribe or trick her into it ;) Mind you, as she doesn't eat it's not really a problem. She doesn't need her teeth for vodka does she :p

I've now dusted the living room/hall/stairs & wiped the banisters, so only have one thing left on Monday's list... to clear the coffee table. Haven't got far with the rest...

... maybe I could move the stuff from the coffee table into the study, and deal with it when I'm feeling more energetic

Mudbath - I'll let you know how I get on. I was only made aware of it as one of my colleagues at work has just completed it and said it was really fun. I have my swanky digital camera but only use about 2 settings on it. It will help me get the most of it

Homespun - thanks so much. And do thank hubby for me. There is another air brick in the middle of the bay which is lower down and can't be seen in the picture. This airbrick is clear and has a little bit of slate on it (not covering it completely) to keep it clear. I don't think it's water table stuff. We're not in an area known for flooding at all and not near a water table. I'll speak to upstairs when he gets home from work and ask for the insurance details (he's the freeholder) and call them tomorrow. I think the damp course that was done was chemical. They also raked as well. But, I can't find the invoice. It may be up in my little loft somewhere but I'm not routing around there just now!
Hugs Triker - take it easy

    Happy birthday Miss A :)

Well done on the dentist Johanne - if you tell them you're really scared, they'll be very understanding. I started going back to the dentist after several years absense when I had a problem about 18 months ago. They were so good and put up with me being a crying, whinging heap in their chair. The hygienist is particularly good and uses ordinary instruments rather than the newer ultrasound because sho knows I don't like it. I now don't cry when I sit in their chair... they have inspired confidence...

And Pigpen - if you DON'T visit the dentist, eventually, you'll have no teeth left with which to chew ANYTHING let alone your own limbs :rotfl:

Reasonable day at work. Looks like I might get things wrapped up tomorrow which means it could be my last day there if I work it so I can have Friday off. Might use getting insurance assessors in as an excuse! :D It's back to the new site on Monday.

Ok, off to do Pigpen's list in my bedroom - I'll get off lightly as I don't do my bedding until the weekend and it was given a good Dysoning at the weekend...

Only other thing to do is:
    • Speak to upstairs when he gets in from work and ask for insurance details

I'm all shopped out - we flew around Boots Lakeside, and decluttered their shelves of £400 worth - pathetic compared to the customer next to me, who paid £250 and had trolley-loads!!

I have washed the main bedroom linen, and that's it for today, although in my defence, I did vacuum yesterday, there's no floordrobe, and the clutter in there has to stay until the shelves go up in the livingroom.

Off to do stir fry for dinner, and beef casserole for tomorrow.

Hugs for Triker, and hope you feel better soon. Huge well done to johanne - for me the fear of doing something is almost always worse than actually doing it. So, as we need to register with a new dentist, I shall be inspired by your example, and get on with it!

toottifrootti - you're not allowed to carry lists over, so delete Monday and Tuesday! How are you this week?
:hello:to AnW's mum, dusty, pigpen, sexymouse, hex and mudbath - for no particular reason!!

Could anyone with a wii fit tell me if I also need to purchase the wii fit rechargeable battery pack and does it come with a basic game? Thanks xx
