Thanks I don't feel quite so bad about it now. The way my brain is melting at the moment, by next Christmas I will probably think that I bought them and therefore won't worry about it at all!!!

OMG any one got a Flylady tip on how to make my gassy child smell better. Erghhhhhh she has been really constipated for the past week so have been dosing her up on Movicol and now she is windy.

On a Fly front, still not done much at all today, 2moz I am going to clean around the whole house as its only things that need putting back. Nothing much at all needs doing. The oven defeated me although the glass door looks nice lol.

I am starting to get fed up with the cleaning now as it seems that something needs doing all the time and the washing is piled sky high. I know dad has to work but I really wish I had some help. My mum does nothing at all just sits in the chair and does not move.

I usually pop a post-it on the pressie to remind me who gave it to me so I don't accidently recycle it back to them IYSWIM

While i had the rush of confidence i also rang the Health visitor back who wants to come visit the house on tuesday!


I also got the confidence to enquire about booking my driving lessons ive been saying for years i wanted to start again.... just waiting to hear back about when i can start them :shocked: :shocked::D

Jennybee - of COURSE you should recycle things you own as presents if you no longer want/need them and think someone else would like them!

Going to sit here and do nothing till DP gets home then we are off on a quick shopping trip to Morrisons. Has anyone got the clothes airer that they do? AM considering getting it as I desparately need one.

Think I scared kids into submission lol.

Julu you are better off doing it the other way round. either cross things off or post the things you've done - makes you feel so much better when you actually see what you have achieved!

:j Just found a Tiffany keyring in a cupboard that I was given by someone ages ago. I've never used it as I didn't want to scratch it (how random is that!) Think that'll be going on Ebay now!

Aaah! - why is Ebay so annoying! All of a sudden it won't let me list anything without being verified on paypal.

Have been away for a couple of days in Manchester so no Flying has been done. But the place is quite good, so I'm not too worried - I'll catch up at the weekend. It's one of the joys of living alone - it's still in *exactly* the same state as when I left it, unlike the lady I work with and stayed with last night - who has a teenager at Uni who mysteriously appears at home, hoovers up the contents of the fridge, leaves stuff everywhere then disappears like she's never been there...

Hello to all the newbies - don't feel overwhelmed by either the mountain of stuff you have to do or the gazillions of posts on here. Little and often, post your successes and all these lovely people will help you with anything you're struggling with.

Extras:

Library books need to go back this weekend (typical, I spent ages choosing four and three of them proved unreadable....tchuh!)
Leftover chicken - make curry
Update spending diary - I've started a new Excel spreadsheet type thing and I'm getting to grips with sums and formulae and charts and things...very geeky
