Confession time now - today's been a day off for me - out and about this morning, plus quilting this afternoon....so the dust gets a chance to settle, so I'll know when I do do it! (Sounds a good excuse to me, anyway!)Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
Freezer drawers dry and back in the freezer with all the ice packs from the inside freezer. Spare icepacks in the inside freezer getting cold. Some food moved to outside freezer.
Two squash peeled, chopped and roasting in the oven. Last remaining cooking apples peeled, cored, sliced and stewing in the oven.
Dog's duvet in a bag & crate in the garage ready for next visit!
Doesn't seem much, but it did take half an hour!0 -
i'd go through labour again instead of going the dentist.. i havent been for 9 years    One tooth is all infected i think and only a 1/4 of it is left but i dont have a dentist
and i have panic attacks at thought of going... i will need to be out cold to have it extracted but cant have a general if im breastfeeding i think?!
.
what I would do is express enough to cover the days it'll take to get out of your system and freeze it. Have the general and feed LO from a cup or bottle. The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.0 -
hello everyone! :hello:
i am finding it hard to stick to the lists at the mo, because although my house is in an atrocious state, I don't have time for the little by little approach, as I have to be able to let a gas safety inspector in as soon as poss. so I have to do what is neccessary for that, and then start doing the lists. so I have to have
[strike]1. the front door area clear and hoovered[/strike]
[strike]2. the stairs clear and hoovered[/strike]
3. the landing clear and hoovered
4. the bathroom clear and [strike]clean[/strike]
5. the living room clear and hoovered
6. the kitchen clear and clean
so that is my on-going list until it is done, then I can arrange for the guy to come!
today i have been catching up on my recycling, ready for binday tomorrow
I have been crushing cans. DS has been crushing plastic bottles.
We have collected together lots of paper, leaflets etc.
I have renewed a library book online, as my PIN for doing that arrived in the post today!
still need to go around filling up bin-liners for bin day
my DS found a bar of Dairy Milk that got forgotten, just in time for aunt flo's imminent visit!!:jwhere can ammonia be bought?
MissA :bdaycake: _party_  Happy Birthday!!!
johanne I relate to the anxiety , I have that too, and really have to work on it. I get aggoraphobic too. I too have a tooth that needs pulling which has now half crumbled away. I too feel I would need to be knocked out, but then I would have noone to look after me afterwards. Also I am very overweight, and worried I wouldn't wake up again. I can't do that to my son. I have been to the dentist about it, but when it came down to the prospect of having it pulled, my anxiety was so bad my chest hurt so bad, i thought i might have a heart attack, so i backed out.
soappie well done about OU course!
triker well done for being brave enough to get your tooth pulled, it makes me more determined not to get mine done though:rotfl: I hope it feels better soon!
Homespun I hope your tummy feels better soon. my DS has the same prob (with eggs) and it makes his tummy hurt too at times. we find homeopathic remedy arsenicum album 30c very helpful
ZLS1984 glad your daughter is feeling better!:T sympathy about your mother:mad:
LilySue ditto on getting put off by how yucky things are:rotfl:
Mozzy good luck with the viewing!!
I must say, it is getting easier to catch up with the thread, even if i've not been on for most of the day.

you can have a general while bf.. you have to tell them though and they use a different one to the usual one (what do you think they'd do if it was an emergency op?)
I know someone who had a huge cyst removed under general while bfLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Jenny - I recycle pressies all the time - at least someone will get the benefit of something that maybe just wasn't your taste - it would be more of a shame to bin them - Greenbee will be proud of you - she's our resident eco-warrior - remember 'reduce reuse recycle'I'd rather be watching CSI!0

johanne - ask around and find a dentist - my old one was horrible, but the current one is lovely! If you let it carry on it could cause all sorts of problems. If Gryfon can do it, so can you! Can you find someone to go with you?
