 We've all been clearing the attic out today. Well, i've been sat on the landing sorting through boxes. We've loads of empty boxes for recycling, a bag for the charity shop, a bag to file and a christmas tree for the bin. It's a small tree that used to be in the porch but we'd noticed lots of decorations have been missing for a few years - lovely wooden ones. Anyway, DH must have put the tree and all porch decorations in a bin bag and then we stopped using that tree. It was lovely finding them all again as we bought them on holiday in America pre-children.
He's currently mending a piano stool that was up there too. Only another million weekends up there to make it useable as a playroom.
That's it for me today. Hugs to all especially GnB's littllie...i'm so glad she's home.

DPs away of course, I'm shattered, he's invited people over tonight which I am not happy about but when I have tried to call him back to say NO his phone is off.

Bizarrely have had some sort of allergic reaction in the car after leaving Tesco's - now have hives over face, neck and chest - mega itchy.
Hope you are ok, has that ever happened before? A friend of mine had an allergic reaction after touching a hand rail on some stairs once - they put it down to whatever it had been cleaned/polished with.
Pots done so time to get the hoover out.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
G&B - that's good news.
Dusty - hope DS's ankle's isn't as painful now.
Well I did my HHC with LG this morning, then the twins' parents arrived to collect them, then we went to Trade Depot and B& Q - £16 saved in there Greenbee thankyou and my Dad was in there buying his drill at the same time but I don't know how much he saved! So just got back and need to sort some tea out.
I'll join in the HHC starting now!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

During Froddy's last HHC I emptied the DW and cleaned the filter, did the washing up, rearranged a few more things in the utility room, planted some crocus bulbs in a pot (it was a kit I was given by my temp who left last year), dried up all the vases and tried to work out where all my glass cloths have gone... they must be either in the airing cupboard or the ironing basket
Have now unravelled a large amount of tangled string and rolled it up into a ball so its useable.
I've also packed up a parcel for MoF77, so just need to remember to go to the post office and that will be one [STRIKE]piece of junk [/STRIKE] lovely but unwanteditem less to clutter up the garage.
Have made a cup of tea, and am starting to get backache from working too hardso am going to sit down and read for a bit (yes, I know I've said that before, but I really plan to do it this time!)

Greenbee I forgot to add a HUGE thank you for your kindness. My Dad saved £616 on a new kitchen, I saved £13, my Sister about £30 and then my Dad discovered I had one coupon left so he was last seen heading for B&Q for another shoppring spree :-) Your generosity is so very much appreciated. It seems you've helped a lot of people on this thread. THANK YOU :-)Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0

)

Why has the thread gone all wide? No pic...
Back from football - lost again and awful refereeing - even I knew my DS wasn't offside (I must be unique - no hang on Froddy will know and understand the offside rule too)
Good to hear your littley is back home and 'saturated' G & BTry doing your HHIs when there's something you want to watch on TV, or listen to on the radio (or even get out a DVD). That way at least you'll be doing something interesting at the same time as ironing... (sorry Valli, but not everyone sees ironing as a leisure activity:rolleyes: , although I saw some Aussies doing underwater ironingon the TV in the gym on Friday :rotfl:
I always have the Radio on - Radio 4 comedy really helps or I choose a lively CD...have ironed this afternoon to Pick of the Pops with Dale on Radio 2...singing loudly...
All ironing done now...probably won't put any washing in until Tuesday night ... because I abhor having wet washing draped on radiators. I might have mentioned before but the people who lived here before we did used a dehumidifier...well lots of room airing and TD use when necessary and I don't have major condensation problems...
