G&B glad your LO is back home I hope you both get some rest tonight.
L&G I'm glad you are ok

Day not gone according to plan as DS2 got a really bad kick on the ankle at footie which resulted in a trip to A&E. They have xrayed and it is not broken just loads of ST damage. Poor child can't walk - his ankle is the size of half a tennis ball and he is crying with the pain. Managed to visit Nan whilst up there though so that is another job done. She is looking much brighter again and is walking a bit with her frame which is good.

I need a snack of something and then I'll peel the pots for dinner before doing a hhc with the hoover.

    Afternoon all.

g&b pleased to hear LO is on the mend, have been thinking of you all.
toots thanks, I remembered last time I weighed myself it was 11am so did it again, if that's right it's actually closer to 5lb which would be even better.

Serious lack of motivation here today, I'm plodding on but not much more than that. I've got loads to do and just can't get motivated. DPs away of course, I'm shattered, he's invited people over tonight which I am not happy about but when I have tried to call him back to say NO his phone is off. I've managed to sort through 4 big junk boxes, recycle bags bursting now. Laundry going ok apart from there is more than I thought. DW is on with the trays in. I need to do the LR next really as I need to get in the 'don't open that door' cupboard to see if there is some DW tablets in there.

Right, must get into that cupboard, clean under sofas and get the small table cleared. Back later x
One day I might be more organised...........

g&bGood to hear LO is home.

Dusty Hugs for DS2 sometimes ST damage can be more painful than a break.

Just had something to eat now off to clean the kitchen.
  • well done mineallmine - you are getting there again
greenbee you are far too industrious - you certainly dont need nagging from me - apart from going to bed at a decent hour - of course you and flower do know that you should not be working on a computer for at least an hour before bedtime dont you? It stimultaes the brain too much - perhaps you should try switching pc off earlier.
nicki well done getting all the stuff installed on your pc.
froddy I joined your HHC and did ebay to see how many I could do in the time - got 6 items done and got interupted by the phone
dusty awh poor DS2 - hope the pain eases off soon and he gets to sleep tonight. thats good news about your Nan - hope the progress continues and she gets out soon.
lil_me 5lbs is brilliant - GGRRRHHHH to Oh for dishing out invites with out checking with you first - hope they change their minds and dont come so you can have a peaceful evening.

had to rescue the washing as it started to rain - now I wish i had left it as it was only a heavy shower - havent managed to get the sheets out - will see what the forecast is for tomorrow..

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

GnB, great news about the LO :T

Froddy, I was in the HHC, in fact Ive just stopped the HHC from 2.30, Im whacked.

    I S&S'd the kitchen
    did veggies for tea
washed DD's trainers cos they were muddy after the dog walk
    S&S's sink
cleaned DS and DD's school shoes
    tidied away the laundry mountain
    cleared the dining table hotspot
cleaned the mice, disinfected their tank
washed their house thoroughly (stinky) and left on window sill to dry, made interim house from an icecream tub
    S&S'd sink again :rolleyes::rolleyes:
thought about making apple and cinnamon muffins for the lunch boxes
    and collapsed :rotfl:

  • Hi All

I have managed to brave Mr T - smaller shop than I thought as I ran out of money - but got most things.

Bizarrely have had some sort of allergic reaction in the car after leaving Tesco's - now have hives over face, neck and chest - mega itchy. I have take an anti histamine tablet so will wait for that to work and I now have a cup of decaf tea as I bought some milk - it is bliss.

GnB - glad your little one is ok
Dusty - hope ds feels less pain soon - ST injuries are horrid.

Will wait until 4.30 then will try another HHC to see if I can finish some of these outstanding jobs.

I tried to do ebay but my stupid camera lead is not working  But ........ I listed 5 things on Play.com instead so am hoping that will count :D cos then my list looks great :j

Chest Infection seems to be getting worse despite the antibiotics and now DS is sick AGAIN. I've not managed a full day at work this year yet which is horrendous as I don't get sick pay. Indeed I now owe them 3 weeks wages....

Have managed to S&S the kitchen, collect dirty washing and hang a load up to dry. Emptied the new dehumidifier which is filling itself over and over again so that must help my poor lungs!???!! My long suffering Mum has taken the dog for a walk and relieved me of the cardboard mountain that was in the hall.

Other half - yeah he's in a mood as i'm sick so has gone AWOL. Men eh...
