  • Oh boy, plans gone awry thanks to sicky 7 year old!

Adjusted plans are now sort out the computer desk (bigger job than it sounds as it is one of those hidey hole jobbies that had doors on it) as I can keep an eye on madam from there.
  • Had a good HHC :j How was yours, Rach ;) I changed my bed, changed the towels and put the used ones in the wash, tidied the kitchen, and had a general tidy round. Off to start cooking now :D

Large cloakroom cupboard all sorted, hoovered and put back. Found some spare cake cases which is handy as I'm down to my last two. Couple of bits sorted out for the scrap store and some pull-ups to pass on - DS3 has been out of them for about 4 years!

Still need to clean the cloakroom when I get back but that should only take 20 minutes.

Soappie - hope you have some joy with the insurance company

Right must get changed and get a move on.

I've added my 2nd HHC results to this one.
  • Morning all, haven't done much I'm afraid before I left for work. Only the usual such s/s kitchen, making bed etc. Though I have got corned beef hash in slow cooker, haven't done it before in there so hope it's ok. Normally I'd slice potatoes etc if doing in oven, but as it's going to be cooking for around 10 hours (!) I cubed potatoes etc.

    Hiya
My list today is all s/s ing. I'm going to concentrate on the dining room again and then a little bit upstairs. I'm also going to clean the toilets....oh joy!

Our old dog had her check up at the vet today - 12 years old and passed with flying colours though she needs a teeth descale. I'm putting that off though whilst we're dealing with the cat. The vet's fine with that. I've got stripes the puppy going for a nail clip tomorrow.

The biopsy results for our cat are back. She has cancer and it's probably an aggressive one. She also has a lot of infection down her ear. We take her back tomorrow to decide what to do but an operation isn't on the cards. We just have to decide if it's fair to give her ear drops twice a day as she doesn't like them. Saying that, I gave her some fish whilst doing it today and she wasn't too bad. The problem is she then runs away from us when she sees us for the rest of the day. I don't think that's any kind of life. If we only had to use the drops every few days that might be different but twice a day .... is it fair? Sorry, just rambling now.

Muddy's challenge - go and empty every bin in the house or is it just our house that has overflowing bins.

Hugs to everyone...have you sorted your damp yet Soappie, hello dusty...not chatted to you for ages xx
  • Hi, again  I have another cupboard in the kitchen to sort :o anyone want to join me for a HHC from 11:30
