As some of you may recall my 'baby' puss went missing, now 7 weeks ago, I still miss him like crazy, it's the not knowing what happened to him. DH & I have agreed we will get another kitten after my op (something to look forward to) will put Clyde on the shortlist of names....it's lovely *sniff* xx“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -
Happy Birthday Holly:bdaycake:
Hi *Moggins* and welcome back ...I am a right good (part time) Flylady and Pigpen never tells me off :rotfl:Scan(s) done - external (with an agonisingly full bladder) and then internal (after a wee) they were late (10 mins) taking me in and I couldn't sit down, had to take my coat off cos I was sweating as I really needed the loo - you have to have a full bladder - so I went hopping to the desk 'how long am I going to be, please, because I am holding on to a bladder full here - and I don't think I can last much longer!:rotfl:' Two minutes later I was straight in - didn't even change into a gown until after the first one (when I could go)
This morning I half cleaned the bathroom and used old toothbrush + bleach on the tiled shelf that runs alongside the bath on which we keep our lotions and potions - and BIG ANNOUNCEMENT I made sure the Bart Simpson bubble bath was emptied - xmas 2007 that came here - so he has gone now:T:T:T:T:T (The shelf does get cleaned every week but not deep cleaned IYSWIM)
The oven bottom is as clean as it will probably ever be - I used a knife to scrape the bottom clean -:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I'm going to eat my lunch now and then get lots done;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I've just cleared the stairs from all that stuff I nearly keep falling over.
Ladyliberty - hugs about your cat, I didn't realise your little one hadn't reappeared. I reckon he's with a little old lady who really needed the company and she feeds him fresh chicken and tuna everyday!!
Valli - hope the scan was ok. I hate that full bladder bit!
Right, i'm off to clear the dining room table now. I think I might wax it too. It's a pine, unvarnished table...is wax the best thing? It was only a fiver off ebay for a great big pine table so it needs some tender loving care (i've only had it two years!!!)..
Tootles.... xx0 -
Glad to hear you are back Valli was thinking of you, did they give you any results? Can really sympathise with the 'full bladder'!
Must go & empty the bins, bin day tomorrow.
