not sure i want to get into bed tonight now, especially as i just been showered!

Well my mattress is lovely and clean (so is my bedding), but I'm off to have a bath... which isn't exactly going to get me clean, just marinade me in my own dirt  but it might help me sleep.

ETA - and I remembered to do my exercises this evening (OK, so I forgot Monday evening, all day yesterday, and this morning, but its a start... I've got two and a half weeks to my next assessment so I might get away with it!
  • Evening everyone  I'm sitting up much later than usual as I have to collect DS from his school trip at midnight   I'm a real lark, will be up at 6am, and don't really function late at night, so Imay be a bit slow tomorrow :o Anyhow, I did well today - cleaned a big kitchen cupboard, kitchen floor, paperwork, made a big batch of bolognaise and baked chocolate and toasted nut muffins, sponge cake, and banana carrot cake. I'm now writing myself a list for tomorrow and sorting some more paperwork.

See you all tomorrow, Penny. x

  • hello everyone! :hello:

i am finding it hard to stick to the lists at the mo, because although my house is in an atrocious state, I don't have time for the little by little approach, as I have to be able to let a gas safety inspector in as soon as poss. so I have to do what is neccessary for that, and then start doing the lists. so I have to have
[strike]1. the front door area clear and hoovered[/strike]
[strike]2. the stairs clear and hoovered[/strike]
    3. the landing clear and hoovered
    4. the bathroom clear and [strike]clean[/strike] almost clear now
    5. the living room clear and hoovered
    6. the kitchen clear and clean

so that is my on-going list until it is done, then I can arrange for the guy to come!

today i have been catching up on my recycling, ready for binday tomorrow
I have been crushing cans. DS has been crushing plastic bottles.
We have collected together lots of paper, leaflets etc.
I have renewed a library book online, as my PIN for doing that arrived in the post today!
[STRIKE]still need to go around filling up bin-liners for bin day[/STRIKE]did 3.5 bags and 2 recycling boxes!
    [STRIKE]
my DS found a bar of Dairy Milk that got forgotten, just in time for aunt flo's imminent visit!!:j
    [/STRIKE]all eaten up, yummy!!

    :confused:where can ammonia be bought?

    today I have done WM+ TD/radiators/airer
    have decluttered my HDD
    changed batteries in clock[/quote]
altered a long micro hot bag into 2 micro hot packs
bagged up 3.5 bags of rubbish
sorted out 2 boxes for recycling
    sorted out bathroom floor
    decluttered some of kitchen worksurfaces
    s+s in bathroom

I am really starting to see how exciting this can be, when you can see how much you've done, that you wouldn't normally have done.:T

I am also beginning to see that I will be able to sort the mess out, it seems less of a mountain to me:rotfl:

for some reason i kept losing my internet connection today, which has been frustrating , and slowed things down:mad:

my landing is so small, i'll definately manage that tomorrow, and i'll try to do a bit more in the bathroom, kitchen and living room

johanne what a lovely OH you have, helping that lady, you must be proud!
LilySue YAY for rubber gloves, what would we do without them?!:rotfl:

I'm off to bed in a bit
hugs to all who need them
well done everyone on all you are achieving:T
