have looked in horror at tomorrows list - I'm sure nobody elses study can be as bad as ours - hopefully pigpen its the incentive we need & DH has even said he will make a start so we may be able to see some of the study floor by this time tomorrow & not have to climb over things to reach this computer!
You're not alone... my study is at least a weekend project... every time another room gets sorted out, the study bears the brunt of it, and although the piles usually get partly rehomed, there always seems to be something left! I don't currently have room to do my ironing, and have been using my laptop in the kitchen for over a week now
Jennybee's study should be looking good though... she's cleared out about 10 years' worth of cr*p already, and I think she mentioned she found a green carpet underneath it all
gtx - re. vacuuming the mattress. This is to get rid of dead skin & dust mite poo. Someone on here (was it toots??) posted a link on a thread last year about dust mites in duvets, just to make the point... If you have a bagless vacuum, empty it before the first time, and look at what comes out  . I still do this occasionally, and am always hugely relieved that it has never been like that since! pigpen puts it on every week, and I also do the spare room mattress when I change the bedding too.
Dehumidifier moved downstairs to deal with the condensation from cooking... dyson moved upstairs, so need to tackle the bed, then maybe have a bath and go to bed and try to sleep! Tomorrow is back-to-back meetings, so I need to get up in time to deal with email over breakfast (I know I have loads, I've been keeping an eye on my blackberry!)0 -

No flying done this evening, Must try harder tomorrow!!!
I think I'm on Yahoo...although I may not be. Personally I like my chat and flying kept together, can't cope with too many different things to read, takes more time which I could be using tidying :rotfl:
Was going to go and empty the dishwasher and fill it but I'm too pooped so I'm going to play something on the Wii and then go to bed by 11pmFluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Welshgirl I know it may sound excessive but when you remember how much a person sweats during the night and how many skin cells we slough off, once a week is definitely needed.
I know how you feel, I hate changing the duvet cover as I am so small I often end up inside it rather than the duvet but it's well worth it.0 -
hmmm, I'm feeling bad already... I also get lost in the duvet...
Oh dear - now I feel I should do them NOWDFW Nerd #1310 -
We're supposed to vacuum our mattress???
I'm changing my sheets on Fri, so I'll get the Dyson, empty, and do it. I feel itchy now just thinking about it.....0 -
