Bathroom S&S whilst bathing little uns.
The dog is standing looking at me now, wagging her tail. I KNOW what she wants. She's asking for a snuggle on the sofa.....if I do it though, that will be the last anyone sees of me today. Tempting, but I can't.
She's now sitting with her head down because I told her no LOL.
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

I soooo need to join this thread, so here's my tree pigpen

    :xmastree::xmastree:

Today we (dd1 and I) mopped the kitchen floor and then I washed all the mats etc, 3 loads of washing (which is a normal day ), de-cluttered childrens clothes, tidied patio (to get to mop!), put all washing from weekend away, cleaned bins.

Need to: do cat litter tray _pale_, unload and re-load dishwasher, quick tidy of sitting room (de-cluttered last week so dead quick :D), sort clothes for tomorrow and make 3 pack ups, make ice cream before 600ml double cream goes off in my fridge at the stroke of midnight :rotfl:, do online grocery order for Tuesday delivery.

I thought Sunday was a day of rest :(

    Hi guys

NicNocs I got the books from WHSmith sale it says in stock when in fact they're awaiting them from the suppliers (says in second email from them), should still get them though, fab bargain http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails-Famous+Five+110+boxset-9780340988527.html

Had a lovely day with my auntys today, we got thoroughly spoiled with dinner at Colmans fish & chip restaurant (Lil_me will know of it) it was delish. Since they went home we've vegged in front of the tv watching Disappearing Britain scoffing After Eights lol. Littleys in the bath now so I collected all her dirty washing from her room and emptied loads of pressie bags that she keeps bringing back from nanas and made quite a dent in the mess....I got told off though for doing it by her cause she wants to do it!!..stroppy mare :D ...can hormones kick in at almost 9 :D

Still full off dinner so probs just cereal all round in a bit after I've washed and checked her hair for crawlies urgh! she had them last week so need to keep on top of it.

I've caught up on the old thread but not this one, will probs do it later or most likely, tomorrow morning. May watch a bit of Most Haunted Live later, it was pretty good last night by all accounts.

  • Hi. Count me in again this week. Hopefully my second week will be better than my first!

For a first attempt, I thought last week started really well. Managed almost all of Monday and Tuesday's list and did most of Wednesday's list on Tuesday too but went downhill from there. Was out after work on Wednesday and Thursday and was too tired when I got in on Friday to do anything except open a bottle of wine!

I will try better this week and I'm off to a good start. Spent today cleaning all the windows and mirrors in the house, clearing out every drawer/cupboard in the living room and clearing out the understairs cupboard too. Think that covers most of tomorrow's list before it was even up! :T

That's the kitchen and living room both completely de-cluttered and cleaned from top to bottom since New Year and I'm definitely noticing that I'm making more effort to keep them clean and tidy, do the dishes every night, etc. Long may it continue!

PS How on earth does everyone manage to keep up with the thread? I started off okay but had lost it completely by the time I got home on Wednesday and never had a chance to catch up after that!

Why is DH such a child? He now doesn't want any tea because he had a go at DD and I told him to cool it! Bearing in mind DD had been out since yesterday teatime and he'd only just picked her up!

(I say this in the full knowledge that Triker hails from t'other side of the Pennines same as me and as a joke and no, it's cos they are more organised and frugal)

Question? If there are things in the back of the cupboard that have not seen the light of day for months and are not thought about should I stop keeping them and finally bin them?

HI all, I did nothing yesterday and not a lot today but thankfully as we haven't been in the house hasn't got messed up!
Forgot to buy a smoke alarm in Asda so I guess it'll be another week...
Spent half the day up at a friends land having the first BBQ of the year, had the two boys trampolining which was funny as DS2 kept falling over.
I now smell of bonfires! Lovely, it warmed up just enough that we didn't freeze to death and we had a fab time, I had to teach DS1 to wee on the grass which he found hilarious!
Have really enjoyed my relaxed weekend and ready to jump into flying again tomorrow.
Just want to say, I have been flying again for 2 weeks now and OMG what a difference, MIL was amazed! House is now a delight to be in and I don't walk into our room and close my eyes at the mess!
Thank you all, and especially PigPen!

If it makes you feel any better mine is sulking cos I told him off for winding up DS1 while he was having dinner and generally just annoying me!
