Be careful JennyBee!! Don't overdo it this week!! nag nag nag:naughty:

:rotfl: If I was overdoing it I probably could have got away with one HHC instead of about 6 that I've done today!!! I am doing that very productive thing called 'pottering'! I am honestly being careful :D

Why is DH such a child? He now doesn't want any tea because he had a go at DD and I told him to cool it! Bearing in mind DD had been out since yesterday teatime and he'd only just picked her up!

good evening all, have caught up(well, skimmed), DD's part went well, although I booked for 8, invited 12, and only 5 turned up, still had to pay for the 3 that didn't come but DSD and her friends had the spare meals, so not gone to waste, and DD was quite happy with who did come!!
i'm glad it's the LR tomorrow as I think a quick polish and hoover will cover it, need to wash the car in the morning then get ready for the funeral before I go to work.
Went to the car wash today, it was open, bought a ticket, then told the woman there was at least 10 cars waiting to go in, she said it was 5 mins each car, (this was just over an hour before the party0so decided to go in the morning after school run(DD not happy as she loves the car wash( I on the other hand am scared of it!!))

Hope you are all well and welcome to all the *newbies*

I'm here again - last week was such fun - and it;s so nice coming home to a tidy house!!
We're about to have dinner (leftovers from yesterdays turkey and gammon leftover pie - I made too much filling so I've mixed in some leftover mash and a bit more stock and made a kind of stewoup which we'll have with the bread OH made this morning...)
After that, we will get onto the spare room that we were meant to do earlier...i've started sorting through the filing - but it could take weeks (if not months) but i shall endeavour to keep on top of it as well as keep up with my flying...and this week OH gets to join in - he'll be so glad he's not away working...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ...although there's so much less to do than last week, the hallway took me over an hour - this week it;ll take me seconds as its no longer full of clutter (because thats all in the spare room - oops!!)

Finally caught up with you all!!

Just about recovered from my day's shopping with DD and her friend at Lakeside, we learned our lesson from last year, and started at Primark - the only trouble was, it spoiled us for all the other shops, as everywhere else looked so expensive afterwards. The girls came home laden with stuff (this is probably why DD's room is such a tip - she has about five times as many clothers as she has storage for...)

Quite a dull day today, as I have had to spend it doing planning for next week, and the units are not the most interesting. Year 7, learning to tell the time (and the textbook still has pictures of clocks with hands despite the fact that none of the children ever seem to have a clue as they all have digital watches/phones etc.) Year 9 comparative adjectives, taller than smaller than - which will probably end in fisticuffs, as they make fun of all the smaller ones...sigh. Oh well, it's only two days after all!

I'm in this week, but from Tuesday.

    :bdaycake: Happy birthday rach!!:bdaycake:

I've noticed there's a few of us from East Yorkshire, is this the most populated flylady area I wonder?

    Tea done and eaten.

    More bins emptied.

Some empty bottles put in recycling.

Going to collect DD1's hamster from her friends in a mo.

Dining room table cleared and wiped, twice.

Think I'll plonk a wash in before we get hamster.
