Another very expensive quango which will presumably continue to "get" the people who are paying up anyway and ignoring the a$$holes who don't.

Report due out today about changes................csa and their actions caused me nothing but heart ache and stress that led to hospilisation years ago.

That aside those who loose out to the red tape and lack of professionlism in csa is the children every time.

I have FINALLY got dates for payments from my ex after nearly 3 years. If they scrap it, what's going to happen with that???

Hope it doesn't mean he will get away with not paying for another 6 years.

Its about time .. this bunch of incompetent fools cost the tax payer an absolute fortune and achieved nothing worthwhile. It would have been cheaper NOT to have a CSA and simply hand out fistfuls of money. Just another typical useless government department.

So what happens to the ones who pay now? My ex's firm pays his maintenance straight to the CSA who pass it on to me. Would i be able to ask the CSA to ask his firm to pay the payments into my account instead of them?

Do you know how much he pays verses what you actually recieve?

Yeah, his firm pays it to the CSA who pay me via my bank account each month. It was arranged by the court that the money is taken direct from his wages.

no I mean numbers my mate used to pay 80 quid a week and his misses got £9
