I wondered if anyone could help me.

I am due to remarry in a couple of weeks time.

I have not seen my ex husband for a few years and have no contact with him nor do my children, his choice not ours.

His CSA payments were enforced and i receive a payment into my account each month.

What i want to know is once my surname changes will he become aware of that? ie will his payments on his bank statement just be listed as CSA payments or will it say payable to MRS A....and then he might see a change to ...payable to MRS B after the weddding?

I am just worrying about him finding out my business which i prefer to remain private.
Can anyone put my mind at rest?
    Many thanks.

My partner pays them by DD and his payments say DSS CSA.

When he paid through an enforcement order/deduction of earnings and it just stated the same.

He shouldn't be informed. His payment is to the csa - who then send the money to you. I would phone the csa and ask that they do not disclose that information to him. Usually it would be on any letter regarding new assessments.

Why don't you ring them and ask before you get married. They should be able to put your mind at rest.

Every 12 months (?) or maybe it's 6 months - my husband gets a statement of his payments to the CSA. It shows his ex wife's new married name.

I can't remeber exactly what it says, but it's something along the lines of

"Mr John Smith has paid £xx,xxx.xx in child support to Mrs Jane Brown in respect of children Master John Smith and Miss Jane Smith." (Names changed to protect the innocent :D)

I just thought I'd let you know beforehand. The CSA may be able to keep the statement information in your previous name, but I wouldn't trust them to remember to do it. In fact I wouldn't trust them to find their own bum using both hands!!!!!!

HTH (and all the best for your wedding :j )

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

Thank you Penny Watcher that has been such a help and a worry of course as we should all be entitled to privacy, but unfotunately they tell me what i consider to be far too much about his personal finances so there is no reason why i thought they would keep my business private from him, its not fair is it?

So what is going to happen with those paying maintenance already? Does that mean the payments will be stopped
