so why does the csa not take into account my husbands 2 kids from his first marriage, who live in Germany and he pays maintenance for, when calculating the money to be paid for his other child in his second marriage. Plus he is now with me and two kids are living in the house

Because the kids in Germany are not costing the UK government any money and as a result can panhandle for their dinner as far as the csa are concerned, this is just another example that the csa have no regard whatsover for the welfare of any child the only thing they are concerned with is meeting targets and chasing production bonuses which is obviously easier if you go after the sitting ducks first.

Not always with the other ones blessing as children have their own passports now. Lone ranger, are you deliberately tryng to wind people up. I think you are enjoying it.

  • no im not im just pointing it out, as you have said some children are taken out as i know to well due to the job i do, but those have been kidnapped by the one parent and hence the haigh convention is an issue here, but ive not heard many parents complain to the csa there children have been kidnapped to be fair, hence my statement many are taken out with the parents wishes

The Times has just said that the CSA is being scrapped this summer so there is hope for the OP after all because they are going to encourage fathers and mothers to reach their own amacable arrangements and then only step in if this cannot be done. At least that was my interpretation anyway.

Is it wrong that that article scares me as there is no way that my ex could get an amicable agreement between him and his ex, there is nowt amicable about her.
