Barclays overdraft costs me approx £2.50 per month

Virgin card interset is approx £28 per month.

I dont know if I am dealing with this the correct way should I be paying my Virgin card off first or my hbos overdraft or both at the same time?

What are the interest rates on each? I would have thought that the Virgin card had the highest APR so should be cleared first. Perhaps a balance transfer to a 0% card would help?

Why don't you have any entries under benefits? No child benefit or the child part of working tax credits?

Beat me to it. If you've a child you should be getting credits for it, regardless of earnings. Have you applied?

I have claimed for child tax credits and child benefit- I have put it on SOA under my wages- idiot that I am!!, so I will go and amend that but yes I am claiming.

I get approx £25 per month child tax credit and £75 or there abouts for family allowance.

I thought that I would be best paying Virgin card off first.

I really dont want to get a balance transfer as that is where I have gone wrong in the past.
I clear an outstanding balance with 0% card and then I start spending on that as well hence the reason I would rather just pay this balance off and say cheerio to credit cards forever:T

Can one of you get Child Care (Busy Bees) vouchers through work to reduce your childcare costs assuming your nursery or childminder accepts them.

Why aren't you paying for water?

I am in Scotland so my water and council tax are tied in together:D

My little one is at nursery in the mornings only, I am fortunate to have a very good MIL that helps out with picking him up etc while I am at work- I work one week on and one week off as does my MIL so we do it weeks about!!

So I am not actually paying out for childcare.

My little one just missed the cut off date for nursery (just missed help with government funding) so we are having to pay full rate for Sep-June so come August when kids are due back to nursery the fees should be reduced to £30 approx because we will have government funding- VERY COMPLICATED!!!

Keep going with paying £200 to £400 a month including your council tax for the next couple of months and it looks like you should have £700 spare for the next two months, payo fthe credit cards asap.

    thanks,
I am hoping to pay £600 to virgin card but I wont be able to pay this until mid Feb as my car is due its 1st MOT and I dont have a clue how much that will be so dont want to leave ourselves too short!!

My aim is £50 by direct debit on 18th Jan
£200 out of my wage on 20th Jan
    £152 council tax money

I have £270 put aside for MOT

With any luck my MOT will be no more than £100
