So very sorry to hear of your loss. What a privilege though to have been the one with him when he took both his first and last breaths. It sounds as though he definitely knew you were with him and decided to help make his final hours as peaceful as possible for you both.

I think one of the nicest things I have heard over a loss is 'to live in hearts we leave behind is not to die'. Your little boy will therefore always live on.
