  • Afternoon all - Happy Sunday

Not done an awful lot but....
    - put the emergency gas on as only had 87p left on meter and need to have a bath
    - have a NSD (5 so far WOO HOO)
    - food from cupboards
    - dry clothes on doors/radiators
    - go see the horse once (he wouldnt come in again - save on food & extra travel)
    - finish off my debt letters
    - finish letter to horrible council investigation thing
    - let hair dry naturally rather than hairdryer
    - share tin of tuna with the cats
    - measure space under bath to see if I can get plywood cheaper than a bath panel to stop cats going under there and using as toilet

    Thats about it

  • Yeehay.
I've finally unblocked the water system in my van. Got rid of the final remnants of ice near the pump. Can go earn some proper money at last. I thought I sorted it once but it went wrong again. Been out in the back of that van swearing and cursing LOL (not too loud cos of neighbours) and finally got there. Dashing out now to get a little bit done while I can still see what I'm doing.
I've been shown how to stop it re-freezing too so hopefully that will work.

So, my daily DFW thing is go to work on a Sunday afternoon after working hard to fix my work tools.

Also, there were several items that I needed for some personal care and home (need also means making life a bit more convenient LOL). Anyway, I used up the Argos voucher I got for Xmas. Had to spend a little bit more too, but not much as I don't think stores give change for those things.

    Off to work now

Best laid plans eh? LOL. I managed to do a bit of work and earn a little then the pump split. Not to worry. Will just lose yet another morning's work tomorrow to go and get a replacement - not to mention another £140+ to buy and fit it. Seems like the recent abuse it's taken was too much after all. When water becomes ice it expands. Not good if it's inside a pump at the time. Thought I had got away with it but turned out that I didn't after all. Ouch !!
It doesn't come out of my 4 grand allowance because it's a business expense but unfortunately, I will need to get a credit card out for this one pushing my debt level up a bit. I do have access to credit other than my LOB deals so at least I won't be interfering with those anyway.

  • Morning folks! :)

I've just gained another couple of hours today as DS' footie match has been cancelled, so instead of rushing around getting ready I can spend an hour on here that I wasn't expecting :j

    Today I have / will:

    - Post here
    - Peel and mash 5lb bag of potatoes I got in Asda for 10p and freeze in individual portions :money:
    - Buy News of the World paper for Martin's dvd
    - phone Sky to see if I can get DS' multi room working, then cancel it as free 12 month deal runs out, then use as a freeview box
    - Enter at least 10 competitions
    - research Sun holiday parks
    - storecupboard lunch and tea
    - Surveys
    - Read details for tomorrow's Mystery shop
    - Check freebies and grabbits boards

Think that's all for today - have a great Sunday everyone :j

Also finally figured out the free scratchards - 20p won :j - gonna go and google Bingoport now. Have also listed 10 cds on play.com

    * Made meal plan for the week ahead

    * Done a "to do" list for the week

    * Handful of change into bertie bassett

    * NSD! Only cos I haven't left the house today though! :rotfl:
