This probably isn't the best place to ask, but what could I make that is tasty and cheap with lamb mince? I have two packets in the freezer and will need to use them next week as I am low on grocery funds.

    All advice would be ace.

    Shepherds pie!!! Yummmmmy.

you can make one big one or a few little ones and freeze what you make over and above what you need. I do it.

I can give you a recipe if you need it but its dead simple and cheap cos the other ingredients are cheap veggies like carrots and potatoes.

  • lamb mince makes ace meatballs with rosemary or with lamb
    and burgers
    and spag bog etc
I use lamb minnce just like normal mince (when we lived on the west coast of scotland the only meat we had was home grown lamb well probably mutton) so anything you can do with normal mince you can do with lamb mince, doesnt taste that different. Enjoy - yum xx

    Hi All,

    Thank goodness its Sunday.

Loads to do today. I have/will do:

    Breakfast at home
Checked online banking, I have enough to pay for my college course, buy a couple of t-shirts for the gym (my normal t-shirts are too short to wear to the gym.....I like gym t-shirts to cover my bottom :o )
Pop into town and and park in council car park (rather than shopping centre car park)
Buy celary to make soup for a week's worth of lunches
Do a week's worth of meal plans
    Checked lottery - did'nt win
Have a pampering evening, and an early night
Wash my clothes for work next week
Look at MS for the next week or so
    Put change into sealed pots
Might treat myself to a coffee in town - or I could just have a posh coffee at home, and put the value in a seled pot

Think that is about it for the day

Thanks to Sophiesmum for starting the thread (as always), hi to all the regulars, and welcome to the thread to all newbies.

    Take care,
    Candy xxx
