Can you tell my boy loves star wars ;) Have you sorted his invites? we still have the template for my sons ... the name and location could easily be changed if you wanted OH to do it for you then I can send across ;)

What a shame if the flying saucers weren't to work ... you would have to eat them all yourself :D ... need a hand ;)

Could I really nick your invites??? That would be fab if that's ok, feel rather cheeky asking :o

Ohh, so many decisions! I think our 'theme' is actually going to be Clone Wars but Jack loves Lego Star Wars (he's too young for lots of the actual toys but likes to look at them in the Lego catalouge!). We can add names, dates etc (I say 'we' but I really mean my OH!).

scrapbooking and cardmaking ladies - what's gum bound paper please? Is it something you lick and stick like paper chain making paper or does it just stick to itself, sticky even though you don't lick it. I'm realising it's bound with gum and it's not wrigleys LOL but I googled and it was no use.

rainmac, loving those little flower embellishments too.

    fab fab FAB!

so versatile and so many uses. they would be great for wedding favours too (writes mental note to self for future reference). and lucky (sweet?) dip for school fayres

as for fillings... smarties would work. maybe mini bath fizzers/bath pearls/bath confetti. (or real confetti for a wedding). mint imperials. jelly sweets.

they'd be fab for holding clues on a treasure hunt too. or for mini advent calendar gifts. i suppose you could even hang them on the christmas tree as bauble type things with the addition of some ribbon.

i guess anything you could fit in a cracker you can fit into one of these.

As far as I know. gum-bound means the paper is stuck together along one side in a pad, rather than being loose (Papermania paper pads use the term gum-bound). All you do is pull a sheet away from the rest of the pad.

    The paper itself isn't sticky.

    Does that make sense???

I too have thought about the uses at Xmas! Wondered if you could layer them up and make an advent tree with them?

I always thought it was the paper which on the back has the gum ... kind of like an envelope but it is all the gum on the back and you just lick and seal? does thsat make sense?

We have a couple of papermania 'pads' of papers like this and it is as Rainmac said ie they are joined togetherat the back like a pad and you just unattach them by pulling each one off v easy!

    Definitely no 'licking' involved!!!
