I`m off into town today to look for a crimper they sometimes have them in the discount book shop in the shopping centre so I`ll pop in for a look!
I really want to make these!!!0 -
rainmac they look fabulous, thanks for showing the pic, the scrapbook paper definately makes a difference, I'm going to have to spend more money on ebay. LOL
For my large ones I used half an A4 sized piece of paper (about 6" X 8 and a quarter") and the small ones a quarter of A4 sized paper. (about 6" X 4"). I think the big ones are okay for presents but you'd need quite a few chocs to fill them. I'm going to get some 6 X 6 papers from ebay and cut the remainder off and make the smaller ones.
Can I just say to be careful re the crimper, some of them on ebay emboss hearts or teddies or wavy lines - this sort you don't need. You need a straightline crimper or a wribbler.0 -
Rainmac - They are amazing!! Roll on the weekend I want to have a go!!!:j
I've just printed off 10 different types of paper with different designs, some lovely easter designs there, you get 10 free to download on https://www.docrafts.co.uk:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
I'm so into making these now!!!
Finished these off for our family dinner this weekend...
Used the same green scrapbook paper cut to size as before and added names in silver pen (so they double as place names) and a Prima paper flower with a glob of glitter glue in the middle. I positioned the flowers in different places to add to the 'handmade' feel of them. I put chewy mint sweets inside - for after dinner!
I really like them, I think they are so cute and hopefully will complement my mum's 'for best' pale green crockery colour scheme:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I think flying saucers would be great ... OH says you could use the popping candy, aniseed balls? not sure if you could find wham bars small enough? or maybe some liqurice? the ones with coloured bits inside for small lightsabres?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Hey can tell you have a boy - lightsabres!!! I like the idea of popping candy, thanks Rusty's OHI'm not sure if flying saucers are going to work as I may not get many into the bag (maybe 2 or 3?) and I don't really want to make them bigger as I won't be able to get anything else in the party bag  Going to have to go out tomorrow and buy some flying saucers to have a test run

What a shame if the flying saucers weren't to work ... you would have to eat them all yourself... need a hand
