Martin says in his article:
"The only real problem is the payment method. When you set up an account, it is technically via a ‘recurring transaction’, which is like a direct debit as it lets them automatically take the money owed each month. It’s cheaper for them to operate, but technically you can’t cancel it, only they can (Recurring Transaction Info). "
This is no longer correct. It is now possible to set/up a D/D payment
