Bun what do you mean you can't say? :grouphug:
Sally might you need to ease up on yourself just a tiny bit? With added pressure AND the weekend give yourself some lee-way - and whatever you've eaten today, its okay if you don't do the same tomorrow!
I think having no choice would make the CD work really, like Sammy says, food isn't a consideration - OH would probably have a major major issue with me doing it but then he can eat bags of wine gums, MacDonald's, and chocolate like it's going out of fashion and still zip up his 28 inch waists. He eats pretty well really but he doesn't have to compensate if he does eat unhealthily.
Dinner is 1 hour away so I have opened the pringles - re McKenna I AM hungry and I AM enjoying them - hmm...0 -

I like what PM says about imagining your future self, seeing her in full light and vibrance, and making the image brighter and stronger - it works for confidence too - I've read that many comedians etc use Paul McKenna before going on stage, have him phone them and go through this technique - it does help and I really do picture the Daphne I want to be 6 months from now - my problem is that this is always too close to an image from the past, and actually no matter what I weigh I am never going to be that 25 year old girl again. She had short black hair and smoked non stop and drank every night. She was thin but I never want to be her again. So it's hard to take me NOW and change that image in my mind based on that.0

and with that I've put the pringles away and have another glass of water0

Oh nothing-just my bloody stupid OH openly flirting with some skinny bird he used to 'lust after' when he was in high school on FB for all to see-saying he's going to save up to visit her.
!!!!!!.
Makes me look and feel so stupid! Why does he find it easy to flirt with other women but not with me? And of course, she's thin and a brunette.

i wonder how i'll cope socially as eating out is a big deal to us... but it was to you too...
i've never really gone on a proper diet "diet" before..... i joined WW once and it didn't work for me....
it's not like i'm shy of exercising so i think i would be pretty succesful if i could stick to CD.....
are the drinks really bogging??
When I added up how much I was spending on diet food ie lettuce etc and then I was going to asda for my lunch because I had 'forgotten' my lunch when in reality I didn't really want what was in my fridge, then the eating out and the chinese take aways - i am actually saving money.
I joined WW before and I have to say its the worst diet I have ever been on...I was always hungry.
And yes we eat out a lot too, although OH has been quite supportive I am not sure how long he will keep it up. I will cross that bridge when i come to it I suppose...
The drinks aren't that bogging :rotfl: there is plenty to choose from and I guess you have to play around until you find flavours that suit. I like the butterscotch and vanilla and banana so far best. I might just live of those tbh.....and maybe a couple of soups. Then I am allowed lettuce, celery cress and mushrooms as much as I want and then 50g of protein!!!:jQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
