Depends what you want the PC to do and what your budget is. You can get a PC for £200 if you want but it's useless and a waste of money if it can't do what you want. Give us an idea of what you require from it - realistically. Don't say it's for a kids use for homework and that's all because invariably they'll want to play some form of game on it further down the line then you've got to struggle to upgrade it and it's more expensive in the long run so it's best to be realistic about it up front. Also sometimes you can get a lot more power (and also future proof your purchase a bit) by spending just a little bit more. If you can set a budget giving us an absolute maximum and also a lower level that you'd prefer to keep close to it makes it much easier to give you advice0

It would depend very much on your definition of 'custom PC'.0

What's a "custom PC"?
Lots of places such as Dell and Apple let you choose what goes into your computer.
You could always build one yourself. It's not very difficult at all.0 -
Sounds cheesy, but reading Custom PC magazine might be a good start - often has useful info on builds/mods as well as plenty of adverts for people selling pre-customised machines...0

This is a custom PC
If you want a cheap PC then buy one from Dell, If you want a decent PC to play games etc then it won't be cheap.0 -
