  • Don't know about anyone else but we ended up returning ours. Grill was utterly useless, so it was effectively a 2 in 1.

Bought mine at the end of January 2006 and it has worked fine until now, it has just caught fire .

Guess where I will be going tomorrow?

    Anybody else had problems?
    Regards

Only to the inside of the oven. I switched it off at the mains as soon as flames appeared inside the oven and they went out after this.

I was on microwave at the time so I think it is probably a faulty megatron that produces the microwaves and now flames.

    Microwave BBQ anyone :rotfl: :rotfl:

Mine is fine, and I use it everyday. :)

I do everything in it that a normal oven does. :)

You are not supposed to put cats in it :D:D

I got one of these last year and find it a great alternative to a normal oven f you need extra space or you have something you want to reheat using the combination settings i.e microwave and grill wtc.

Two minor irritations for me are 1) You cant stop the turntable rotating when grilling. 2) The microwave controls are a little clunky, for example to microwave you have to press the microvave button then press the "start" button to confirm then rotate the dial to the required time then press the start button again. If you wish to continue cooking after the first session has finished you have to repeatb the whole process again - you cant just add more time.

Other than that it's a great machine

Microwave operation is dead easy, just hit the quickstart button once for every minute you want to cook. How simple is that ?
  • It's back on again (and strangely enough so are the dental flossers :D )

I'm kinda tempted as ours is on the blink - although Mrs Shaboo wants a Panasonic like the one we've got, but this one includes the convection oven and costs less.

Anyone's still going strong or anyone got some more up-to-date feedback?

    Cheers,
