Yes. I got one today and tried it tonight. It has also got some auto cook menue options as well - just select chicken, enter the weight and off it goes. Can confirm there is a 3 year warranty card inside.

So far its looking good:j . The sides do get vet hot though when on hot air or combination so could be a hazzard if you have young children.
    Regards

  • Can I recommend Pyrex Oven Dishes in various sizes to complement your new combi micros - supposedly half price at tesco's at present except that a £3.47 dish is 10% of the price of my Asda combi bought a while back now!

Thanks erb also just used it, has to be left on for 20 minutes on hot air??? before first use.

I have personally found it slightly complicated to use as it has both manual (have to turn dial to select time, temp) and touch button (for selecting type i.e microwave, grill etc).

Initially I had to work out which touch button to press for microwave use rather than others such as grill oven hot air etc as all options are on two buttons, also this has to be done before each use! and then turn dial for time. Maybe once I'm used to it it should be okay.

Though slightly worried that I may select the microwave, oven rather than grill and vice versa as it specifies that MUST NOT SELECT microwave option with the grill plate inside!

I previously had a Sharp Microwave where I'd just selcet time and start.

Have to say it is larger and heavier than other microwaves I've had and has taken quiet and bit of space although looks great.
  • I picked one up from the Wigan store this afternoon. It is a big heavy thing, but it looks good. We havent tried it out yet. There were quite a few left, surprisingly.

I haven't bought anything like this from Aldi since 2002 when I got a Medion PC (ah, brings back fond memories of staying up all night wondering whether to buy it, £700 was a lot but the student loan installment I'd just received covered it, rang a mate at 8am to go with me for 9am and he ended up buying one as well!)

So anyway, I put the microwave in a trolley then took it to the checkout and put it on the checkout belt like a wally before being told it would be okay in the trolley after it'd moved along a bit. :)

Interestingly the warranty card says Medion on it, but it does say at the top Delta Microwave. Maybe Medion just supply the warranty.
  • Tried the grill today. It doesn't seem to be suitable for toasting, and the element doesn't get red. Has anyone else had the same problem? Am I doing something wrong? I have it on the G1 settings so I don't think I am..

Never heard of Delta Microwaves. Anybody know if they are anygood. The advert does appear to show a 3 year warranty.

I got a delta m/wave from Aldi last year ( not a combi one though just a bog standard £39.00 one) I love it - had no problems - does what it says on the tin!! Still time yet tough I guess :)

Cactus-jack, I have the same problem I tried to use the option selected G1 and took over 9 minutes to toast!!! though it did toast.

Still can't understand how??? as the element did'nt get red.

Rang the helpline 0870 no on the literature, was on automated for a while gave up eventually!

Also tried to using the combi option without success, have to say this is one of the most confusing appliance's I have used.

Hi, guys, i also brought the microwave and found it good and also a bit complicated as well.

Just wondering that do we need to fill the guarantee card and send it off, or do we use it if the microwave stops working
  • Has anyone had any luck with grilling things? I haven't tried any meat in the grill but if its taking 9 minutes to toast some bread then I can't see it being much use. Will try some meat on it soon, but it looks like this appliance will be going back.
  • Theres a few left in the Stevenage store if anyones still looking - bought one today.
