  • Hey all! Well i went to the France show for free today and it was fun! I got lots free pens and free bits and bobs, including some bags! I also went on a hunt for some more freebies and got some samples of Britney perfume and Lush gave me a bag of free samples!! How good!! Oh i got a free car air freshener at the show too! Planning to clean up the car tomo morning! lol
    I managed to get decent toothpaste on offer too 99p in superdrug and have used up all the veg at home and made a stir fry!
    Tonight i will
    · Read my book
    · Wii fit for half hour
    · Look for more freebies!
    Will be getting the weekend papers, shame my student vouchers ran out though. The telegraph has free brain training books and the Guardian has free get fit guides, and news of the wor;d free money saving dvd and budget planner! Theses guides will do me great for night shifts and im hoping the fiver or so ill end up spending will be worth it!
    Lilly89...sorry to hear the bf dumped. What went wrong? Great you are back into money saving mode tho

    Hey guys,

    No big drama, he just was really boring! He would start talking, I'ld zone out and 30 mins later he still would be talking :rotfl:
    Oh well atleast it saves me money on petrol + credit, even if I am lonely :o
    Made the cottage pie this evening, got 3 extra dinners for me and DS. Decided since oven was on to pop in some fairy cakes :j
    Have meal planed for next week and written my shopping list.
    Bought DS a party shirt in tesco sale, cost £6. We have 2 family parties n FEb so it will get used!

    I have a headache and feel sick now so going to rest!

  • in the dfw and recycling way after my lodger dished up his curry and binned the remains i went to recycle the tin trays... result = did recycling and ended up with free salad and free onion salad!!!

    apart from that not a lot else achived today other than de-junking one room (putting stuff in attic so lodger can have it when he buys a property - suppose will save on housewarming gift!!)

    Not sure if it fits here, but I closed 2 credit card accounts today-I had'nt used them in ages so I just cancelled them!
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
