Not a NSD for me today as I had to go to the dentists first thing this morning and need to take cat to vets this afternoon  AND it is horrible outside again, freezing and foggy. However, no work today! My new contract is only 4 days a week. I am sure I will end up doing more than that, but at least I can start off as I hope to go on:rolleyes:

    So far I have:
    Sorted animals out
Checked banking and moved some money into savings
Made yummy cream of mushroom soup for lunch for myself and poorly OH from some mushrooms that needed using up.
Done mealplans for next week, and started shopping list
(Hopefully) convinced my DD that she cannot have 150 people to a wedding reception at the bottom of our garden  and she will need to either think of somewhere else or drastically cut down numbers.

    Later I will:
    Take cat to vets
    Make storecupboard supper
Look for ideas for MSE style weddings
Sort out some unwanted books for a freecycler who is coming tomorrow morning - not moneysaving, but good to declutter.

Hoping Pip has made an arrival and Pipsmum is ok. Been thinking of her.

Had one of those mornings where I seem to move a lot but achieve nothing. hey ho...never mind!

    here's my attempts today:

    * PAD Pay £10 to Studio
    * Put some coppers in sealed pot
    * Checked on line banking
    * Washing at 30'c
    * Storecupboard tea - following meal plan
    * Nan has said she is sending me over a piece of boiling bacon - yum!
    * Do some comps if I get time
    * Heating off as sun streaming through windows

Not much else apart from that.

    Miss P
    xx

Painted lady, thank you for the lovely update, its nice to know how your getting on and is odd not to see you on the site but am glad that the time away to sort you out is producing positive effects. Hope your strength of body and mind returns soon, but well done for all you are achieving at the moment.

    Hi Everyone

Lilly - Sorry about the boyfriend (or maybe congratulations?)

Andan - its really good idea to back up (and clear out) the computer regularly. I back up important files once every couple of months and full back up every year.

I've been really busy at work in some ways and achieved nothing in others. Am so glad its nearly the end of the day - I'm shattered.

Here is my list of things to do/done:
    • [STRIKE]Find recipe for lentil lasagne on this site[/STRIKE]
    • Find the final bit of paperwork to call tax office tomorrow (not the best time!)
    • Flylady tasks (don't have spare room so will go tot he next level on some other tasks)
    • Nice thing - dinner with BF as I haven't seen him all week.
    • [STRIKE]Email course administrator as I don't have the course materials[/STRIKE]
    • Get suitcase from loft (brrrrrr) so I can start packing
    • Laundry hokey kokey (first load went in before I went to work)
    • [STRIKE]Chase travel agent for tickets [/STRIKE] They still haven't got them. Got quite shirty with them - not impressed!
    • Spend 30 mins tidying bedroom (it's a mess!)
Have a great Friday evening everyone!

See you tomorrow - am building a mammoth list for tomorrow. Looking forward to some action!

    Lots a love

    urg x x
