Hi everyone, I said I would check in on here every so often with updates. It is helping me sort out my problems by not coming on everyday and am spending less time on the internet generally in order for me to sort some pretty significant problems out right now. Thanks everyone who has offerred me support or and friend ship lately. I do think about you all everyday and think about what my list would be if I was posting, so am still in the DFW way!
Anyway, this week has been busy with work, but I am feeling I am focusing well on it after my 4 months long term sick (I had various hospitalisations, surgery and tests etc done and nearly lost my job in the process) but am feeling its starting to look more positive and I am feeling more confident with it.)
I have settled my little boy in nursery after having problems with childcare, I think he will be happy there.
I have sorted my tax liability out and owe the tax office some money, but less than I was expecting.
Although it has been cold, I have been happy because its sunny here (I think I get SAD and i feel so much better when its bright, I have had a lot of depression lately)
I have looked on the nationwide website, the mortgage should go down, i am on one of the ones where they are passing it on.
I am tidying some of the small financial things up today, like returning a catalogue item that has been faulty, paying my sealed pit money in bank (£45) and transfer that to CC. Tea will be the 30p stir fry I got yesterday, should just stretch to feed 3 of us. not going out tonight, always quiet this time of year, better off staying in, saving money and catching up even more on stuff for work next week (I have my appriasal), maybe treat myself to a beer from the fridge if I get certain work done.
Hope everyone else is doing OK, thinking of you all, despite my absence from the thread.0 -
