Oooh!! Just realised the date! Good luck everyone - let's hope a few of us are Mortgage Free in Three :D :j
  • Don't know if I'll still be logged in for the next hour and a half, but the challenge is still open for anyone to join until 23.59 GMT today.

Was curlygirl1971 the last to join or is anyone else going to join in the next 90 minutes?

I've now got through the PMs, recent thread posts plus the online updates. Think I've got everyone who has updated, but I could be wrong.

If yo have some spare time in the next few days, could I ask if you could check your chart 01 entry here:

and if it is wrong in any way, use the update form to inform us:

So unless someone has PM'd/Google docs FB we have 191 challengers. What a huge amount of money we'll be knocking off our mortgages.
Welcome everyone, looking forward to getting to know you better over the next 3 years.

    Good luck

Mine is obviously wrong, some idiot has signed me up to pay off £68,416

Oops, that would be me

Just made a payment of £6.25 to get the ball rolling. Daily interest is £6.24, so am 1p lower than yesterday :rotfl:.

According to an (another :o) additional column on my spreadsheet I will have paid off £68,416 on 26th April 2013 , so only 4 months or so out. Need to a) stick to that plan, and b) find another £6,000 or so to achieve by 12/12/12. Simples

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • The registration period for this challenge has now closed. This 3 year challenge started in December 2009 and is due to complete in December 2012 (12/12/12).

Well no one else stepped forward, so I make that 191 challengers, providing no one else has dropped out at this stage, which is a huge amount. I was originally thinking 50 would be great and 100 would be massive - great to have everyone on board.

Still a few gaps in the challenges and a few PMs / starting balances coming through - keep them coming and I'll update the Chart 01 and post #1 as and when I can.

    Thanks and good luck,

    Financial Bliss / Maz123.
