Hello all!
After working realy hard to clear our mortgage ahead of schedule on the MFiT challenge (see sig) we've gone a bought a new house so we're back on the wagon after a great few months.
In reality I have no regrets - if we hadn't have done the MFiT v1 we'd never had had enough to buy this house and as we moved in just over a month ago and are still loving every thing about it its going to be worth the next 3 to pay it off a bit!
I will update googledocs when I work out the figure for 12/12/09 but my objective is to get sub £90k from a starting mortgage of £135k. This isn't as much as on the MFiT challenge as firstly we had a second property then which we were either going to sell or remortgage and use the cash to pay down our mortgage. We obviously can't do this again! As well as this the interest is double what we were paying before so again less cash to pay down capital!
I look forward to fun and support over the next 36 months!
Thanks

Have just sent a googledocs update.
Starting balance was due to be £95K. After a rummage behind the sofa it was down to £94908 and the old 'round number' OCD kicked in, so I made a swift transfer to get it down to £94900 for tomorrow's start date.
Good luck everyone in your individual quests.

Hi All, number 55 Penny pauper here
Looking forward to the challenge but going to have to change my target. Had my scan yesterday and I'm twelve weeks pregnant so financial priorities have shifted quite a bit! Outstanding total mortgage is £149828.83 and my original target was to get rid of £40k during the challenge. Going to half it and aim for £20k. Good luck everyone
