Yup, it will that so let's have something (less) to show for it :T:T:T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I'm so disappointed. I've worked out my figures and I seem to be out by over £250 (the wrong way...) I will have a rethink and update my final start figure on 11th Dec-just before the deadline probably!!!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I'm starting at £35,000 on the nose, which is £250 more than i thought originally too. I sent it via google docs this morning.
I am not seeing it as a bad thing though. I've been sat working out some calculations. My target of £15k in 3 years means paying off £225.39 a month on top of the mortgage payment. If i were to try and pay off completely in an ideal world it would be an extra £780.72 per month which is unachievable, so i just need to keep doing the best i can.
I'm going to do my absolute best to reduce the grocery and household spends to make my hubbies wages go as far as possible. Hopefully then i can manage it. I really need to get myself a budget sorted ASAP i think. We had one, but some bills have increased and some were less than expected so i need to amend accordingly.
I just watched a programme about energy use at home. They were using 80 cyclists to power a house for 12 hours. It was interesting to see how much energy was used so i can probably get a few tips from it. BBC programme, i think.
I am really keeping my fingers crossed that the rates stay low or then i might start to find it more than we can manage. I'm keen to get on at the minute anyway and see some progress.0 -
