A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Balance £5500 so really pleased with that.
Well done to adwat and freedon fighter for being mortgage free (and any one else I have missed). Fantastic.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone on MSE.

Wondering if that comment is aimed at me...
Been a dreadful week for finding time for myself.
Thursday - worked a later shift, got in around 7.30, closed door and hung coat up etc. Literally seconds later the front door bells goes and a very good friend turns up and stays until after 10pm - was having beans on toast at 10.30 so didn't have the energy to get onto MSE.
Friday - Daughter went to a party, said she was a little off. Came back and vomited everywhere, so have been keeping an eye on her.
Saturday - took it easy, although did manage to sneak out to the kids club at the cinema - £1 each.
Which brings us to today. Have booked a trip to see Santa today, but hoping I get some free time in the evening.
Set this challenge up to drive myself to hit my 12/12/12 target - and I'm not going to give in now - just feeling guilty at how little time I've put towards MSE this week...

Late for the party again!
Updated via google docs.
Doubt I'll be MF by next Dec. Congrats to all who've cleared their mortgages and congrats to all who've made significant dents in theirs.
thanks again FB for running the challenge
Seasons greetings all

Morning all - bit late in updating (no 117) but we've really squeezed ourselves and our end of year balance is £76000 - ahead of target, I believe.
Sorry for the late update - off to send googledocs form now!

FB don't feel guilty - we are all just very pleased you find the time AT ALL to do what you do. So a massive thanks for that. That said, are you going to do some further analysis again like you did for charts 1 - 4, at some point? I know not everyone liked it last time...I really did though and I could really use some cheering up right now. My car just cost me £1060!!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

As far as I can tell (unless I've missed some - I'll check
) I think the chart 08 figures are up to date.
According to the data, we've three newbies who are mortgage free during this chart. Well done to the three of you!- Freedom Fighter (61)
- adwat (98)
- must stop spending (198)

Looks like Google may have changed the way spreadsheets are shared.
I've managed to fiddle the link so that Chart 09 is being shared rather than the whole spreadsheet. Link is here, which I'll add to the start of this challenge:
Chart 09:

I will check this over tomorrow. Got a funny feeling I've missed something off.
