Chart 02. Nice to see that people are updating via the Google docs form. I've so far logged 59 people as having provided an update. Couple of tips:
    • If you have posted an update value here, but not via the Google docs form, could you update via the docs form as this helps immensely in collating the figures rather than searching this thread for updates.
    • If you have provided an update, then made a further payment / overpayment, then feel free to supply us with another update.
    • If for whatever reason you didn't get around to providing an update for Chart 01, you can still provide an update for Chart 02.
Another week to go yet - here's hoping that the 134 people who provided an update for Chart 01 can be improved on for Chart 02.

    Thanks,

    Financial Bliss / Maz123.

I signed onto Nationwide online to view my figures but my mortgage account has disappeared? Odd? My current fixed rate expires at the end of this month but there is still 1 payment to go so the mortgage is still current. We are just going to run on to the BMR for a while but this will be a big rate reduction for us, currently fixed at 6.85 but should go down to below 3%. I have sent a pm to check my account details but it may take up to 5 days to resolve.

My figures this quarter are not good, have made just a few ops, booked holiday and spent too much on that but hoping to catch up next quarter. Will most my figures as soon as I can get them, if nothing by Wednesday I will ring Nationwide and get up to date figure.

Hello everyone - I can't believe that another 3 months has gone by already! Just posted my update and am really chuffed that we have paid off over 20% of our further advance. I am hoping to clear it in about another 18 months so that we can then make a start on the main mortgage. We can surely clear that well before September 2027!

    Good luck everyone!

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Afternoon all,

A slice of good fortune has seen a small inheritance mean that 1st of November is now a definite possibility for being mortgage free. I'll amend the payment schedule and possible pop in another payment under the wire prior to the publication of chart 2 next week.

    Cheers,

No 89 reporting in ... spreadsheet update sent. I have a feeling there will be a small niggle which may turn into a further advance though! Even if that happens we are still in a decent position and will work even harder to get to (a slightly higher) target.

Hi there, I didn't get around to updating for the first chart, but I have just sent the Google Docs form to update for the June chart. My balance is now £22,001.70 which is a reduction of over £14,600. This is due mainly to a lump sum redundancy payment that I received following the loss of my job in March. No doom and gloom though, because I was able to go straight into another one, so the redundancy has taken a big chunk out of the outstanding balance.

I may well make another payment before 12-Jun though, because it would be nice to report in under the £22k mark this time.

    Way to go folks...

Was just checking to see if there was any updates to process and I've just processed the update from chickadee (204), which did the deed.

So, regardless of if you've paid back £100, £1,000 or £10,000 - give yourselves a pat on the back as we have collectively just reduced our mortgages by:
    £1 million pounds.

Well done everyone (£1,006,868 actually :D) - keep those updates coming in.
