The more observant of you may have noticed that I was intending to publish 3 charts today.

As I guess you're spotted, I've done Chart 01. I've done a bit of spring cleaning on post #5:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=17475827&postcount=5

and in doing so, have also published Chart 02. Why?

There was quite a few "Think I'm in the green zone, or I may be green, but could be yellow" etc. So, with the new "Shortfall" column, if you look at your own entry for Chart 02, this will tell you how much you need to reduce your mortage by to get into the green zone.

Some of you are already quite ahead of the curve and are in the green zone for Chart 02 already, and others are just of the edge of it switching to green, eg starbucks (180) needs to just pay off £100 to be in the green zone when the next chart lands in June.

Hope that helps for payment planning for the next 3 months...

    Enjoy :D

    OK, I admit it, I'm a geek!
I've just worked out that I only need to pay off £121.98 to hit the yellow target for the next chart! I will need to repay £3571.98 to hit the green- let's hope I manage to do that he? That works out as £1190.66 each month after interest has been paid and leaves me £172.82 each month between my monthly payment minus the interest I'm charged. (If anyone can figure out what I mean- I couldn't quite work out how to word that).

Righty ho, off to have a further nose at the charts!

Thanks to all involved in this. Came in a yellow as expected, but have an endownent coming through next year which will pick up any shortfall.

Thanks FB & Maz. The charts are a fantastic incentive. Well done to everyone so far, considering Jan & Feb are always tricky with post Christmas bills etc, we've done really well. Happy days!
