Alteration to Chart 01 now done. We now have 6 columns:
Starting amount, current chart date, pledged reduction, repaid, the new column "shortfall" and the coloured percentage column.
So, looking at Chart 01, which I've adjusted my own balance as an example:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tks17oKUg5u0jJOsscg4G1Q&single=true&gid=2&output=html
I need to reduce my balance by £48,383 / 12 ie £4,032 (rounded) to keep to on target / in the green zone.
Setting a repayment of £1,532, that means I'm £4,032 - £1,532 ie £2,500 short of being on track. This shorfall is now shown in the, you guessed it "Shortfall" column.
Similarly, I've set Maz to have paid off £2,250, thus she is ahead of schedule, thus the shortfall column is blank.
Hope that helps with the numbers...

That's a really good implementation.
It's great to see that ideas are being worked on for the benefit of us all.
Well done FB! :beer:0 -

Right, mini-challenge within the challenge for me - I have my new-ish car (which, I have to say, is lovely
), but as a result of raiding the offset account to pay for it I'm now £4k behind my starting point for the MFi3-T2 challenge  OH, love him, is paying me back for the car, but over 3 years. So I'm challenging myself to catch up the £7k I took out on top of the £3k extra I need to put in to stay on target before chart 2 is published in June. It's nearly but not quite impossible, but hey, even if I don't make it, the extra effort is bound to help, right?

Good Morning Everyone.
Posted update via google docs
Starting Balance £149,829
Balance as of today £147, 853
Well chuffed with that as we have been on holiday, started preparing the nursery and saving for my maternity leave.
Well done everyone else as we all seem to be doing really well.

3-year-old 2.0l diesel Toyota Avensis - seemed like a good time to buy one with all the bad publicity
OH used to have one as a company car and we both loved it. I would have been happy to carry on chugging along in my 10 year old Polo, but circumstances meant I had to get something bigger. See my diary thread if you're interested in the full long and boring saga!

My mate drove past me the other day in a Toyota and I shouted to him, 'allright Jim'?
He wound down his window and shouted back 'allright loopy, sorry mate, can't stop........'12/12/12 Lets party!:beer:0 -

start balance - £121,897
balance today - £114,504
target balance - £76,000
Paid off to date - £7,393 so ahead of schedule for the moment, very exciting to see the balance going down! :j Much larger than usual reduction this quarter due to unexpected bonus in January, determined to be green at the end of the challenge too

Allright MFIT wannabees. Was wondering where you are all from? Me, I'm from the midlands in a place called Rugby. Cracking little market town, quite oblivious to the outside world.
There is a site called pin in the map. You shove a pin in to show where you live in the country. any techies on the board could rig one up please. would do it meself but not got the knowledge required....12/12/12 Lets party!:beer:0
