I hate to admit it, but it's worked on me.
Barclaycard was my first credit card. I got it in 1992 when I started University. Over the years the interest rate has fluctuated and got quite high at one point. So I asked them to reduce it. They did, but it's crept back up to 14.9%.
The most annoying thing is it used to have lots of benefits, but they have all but disappeared now. I know I should cancel it, as I have cards with better rates, but I'm attached to it.
Truthfully, the main reason I have kept it was the fee free, lob, bt rate. But now I'm not using that either. 0 -
