If there are no applications before the Court in respect of rejected claims, the dividend will be paid by this date. However, if there are applications before the Court in respect of rejected claims, we will be unable to declare the dividend at this time without making a further application to the Court for permission to do so.

I received a letter from an IFA who I have previously used, telling me about some fantastic investment opportunities which have given 86% return over the last twevle months.

    When I read
ACT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
    it went in the bin.
    FSA backed (therefore capital safe)
OP, is this your interpretation or did the e mail actually state this?

Phase 1 Reaper, mind you not a bad rate of interest, looks like Farley got something correct.

Having being doing some investigations into this over the last 2 years, I've uncovered some interesting details about this and the closure. Not least where the funds have gone!

The overall deficit is as a result of 2 things, firstly the open trades that were not closed properly when the FSA intervened which total around £500k. This is similar to the Cameron Farley issue which I believe is being taken to court by the investors of that particular scheme to recover against the FSA.

Secondly, the offshore investment which was made and accounts for the difference of circa 700k. This was made to this guy:-

As I cannot post links just yet, put www dot then the text below

If you google (Text removed by MSE Forum Team) followed by either Seychelles or Tenerife if comes up with some intriguing results. One of the paragraphs in the above links points towards another country taking a closer look into [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] affairs. I'd be very suprised if this is not the SFO given the sums of money talked about on some of the Google links and the involvement of Qatari's, bonds and other issues which looks like a large scale scam in which the funds were invested.

    Hi JR1971.....

Is it true (Text removed by MSE forum Team) has been jailed????? I think i found the answer JR Quote.
"Darren Upton appeared at Leeds Crown Court on 19th
December 2011. Due to problems with legal aid, the case was adjourned until
27th January 2012, as Upton’s defence counsel had not properly reviewed the
    evidence.

it is expected that he will plead guilty."
It appears also he has been made bankrupt.

And we do know he is a creditor of Cameron Farley.

Well Darren, Good luck for the 27th...in court that is.

Shame you lost money in Cameron Farley, there again you are probably no different to us and yes the FSA did 'screw up' but you might see whitewashed walls and a 'netty' in the corner for your sins....

I would be lovely if the government could protect everyone from the bad men, but you can't legislate against stupidity.
