i have had this 3 times today.dollywops wrote:Yesterday morning I received an email from paypal confirming I had added a new address to my account. As the address being quoted was mind anyway, I did not think much of it.
So far this morning, in the space of 20 minutes, I have received 5 emails from paypal, all saying the same thing.
I am going to try emailing them and find out what is going on.
I have, just to be on the safe side, also changed my paypal and ebay paswords.
Any ideas?0 -

Same thing just happened to me too, very weird I must say.
Another thing, a few times over the last week I have tried to pay for small value items - no more than £2 - using my debit card which is on file with Paypal but it has come up saying no card on file please add details. I have then logged into Paypal & the payments HAVE gone out! It's happened 3 or 4 times this week, any ideas what to suggest?2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0 -
i get loads of strange emails from paypal. any that i'm unsure of before i do anything i forward it to spoof@paypal.com and then wait for a reply to know if it came from them of not
like with ebay get loads of strange ones. so again i forward it to spoof@ebay.co.uk just to make sure.

I had the exact same email from them, they addressed my name etc and said I had added a new address. I clicked off my email and got a new browser window into paypal and checked address and it was the same as before I got a bit worried!.dollywops wrote:Yesterday morning I received an email from paypal confirming I had added a new address to my account.
