Slightly off topic but thought this might be a useful warning??!
Has anyone else noticed that lost.angry.confused (another thread on this forum) also fell pregnant whilst using the mirena coil??!!
Not a great advertisement for its effectiveness?
Hope both ladies have successful and happy outcomes to their situations and wish them all the best.
I haven't seen it, but I can't really blame the mirena. You are supposed to go and have it checked and I havent been in the past year!
Then again, if you do a google search it doesn't come across as the best meathod of contraception. Have warned my close friend who also has a minera though!0 -
Actually DS2 is spoilt so it's not just only children!! I was spoiled too. It doesnt make you a bad person, just inclined to stick up for yourself! :T :rotfl:0

From a cultural point of view, I cannot and will not understand why people are having more and more children when they refuse to work more/hard enough to pay for a bigger house.
It's normal here to see three generations of one family in the same apartment, with multiple children stuffed into a tiny room. But that can be attributed to our past, with circumstances dictating that it's simply not that easy to make enough money to move somewhere bigger.
But in the UK? What possible excuse or indeed reason can there be in a society which is largely pro-contraception for having 3 or more children in a tiny house, where the children have no privacy or even room to breathe? From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -

Just more reason to work harder, isn't it?
The situation in housing here is why so many people moved to the UK originally anyway. From Poland...with love.

We have 3 children in a 2 bedroom bungalow. We had planned on just two children and then twins came along! We have planning permission to extend the place considerably but are debating whether to save our cash with all the uncertainty over the economy & jobs etc. So yes it is doable but it's quite a squeeze!!0
