help with wii now i'v connected to pc

Your router is possibly already setup for wireless and sending out a signal even if you are connecting your own pc to it with a cable because your computer does not have wireless capability.;)

ah thank you so much ive just tried this and it found an access point and is now updating im so chuffed :j ,
so now i can download games onto wii yes?

Now this is where my DD is the expert!! I know you can download games from the Wii shop and you have to pay in either points collected (as an earlier poster mentioned) or by purchasing a points card with points loaded on to it. The cards can also be bought in the Wii shop which you can access with the Wii console once it has updated

thank you, just had a quick look at the shopping channel so i can link my accounts just got to convert my wii stars i got for registering my games into wii points then i will buy some more to.

Glad I could help, for someone who calls themselves dumb I think you've done a brilliant job. You can download other channels in the Wii shop ie Forecast Channel, Photo, Voting etc for free so have a go with those first. The link gives you more information about the points system. Have fun!

hi again, got a quick qeustion,
now i'v connected wii to pc whenever i go to turn wii off it goes to a orange light and not red is this normal?

Hi I am new to this , but as i see your talking about wii's can you help me how does my neighbour see me on mine and can i watch them ?

That's right, the orange light means it is on standby

Do you mean on particular games?

On certain games (like Mario Kart for example) you can get a friend code, you can exchange friend codes with your neighbour and you should be able to play online together

sorry im not sure on this one i think you can get wii talk so you can talk to each other but not sure how you connect up
