you need to make sure you type the wpa key you will find on the bottom of the router in capitals, thats really important.

thank you
You dont need one of those, your router is deffo wireless.
All you need to do it go to the settings for the internet - search for an access point - click on OK - choose your network - type in the network key in capitals- click on OK- save the settings - do a connection test and voila
if you have any saved connection, use the button at the bottom to clear them before you start.

Do you see on the bottom left hand corner of your screen there is a little circle with 'wii' in it? click on that and then choose wii settings. then move to the second page of options by clicking on the right arrow and choose 'internet'.
Then you need to click 'connection settings' click connection 1, if there is already something there, choose the bottom option to clear saved settings. Once you have clicked on connection 1, you get options for wireless or wired. Choose wireless and then choose that you want to search for a wireless access point. choose you network and stick your network key in

Follow these instructions on Nintendo's site. You will need the number usually referred to as a "key" which should be on a label on your router. You should be able to do it without using your pc. (except, of course, for reading the instruction)
