I've downloaded a couple of games and other bits to my Wii from Nintendo's store, but the Wii has to be connected to the 'Net for you to be able to do so. You also have to pay for most downloads with Points, buyable with debit & credit cards.

I've no idea if there's a way of getting Official downloads from a disc onto the Wii.
Where there's a will, there's a way to get something cheaper from somewhere else!! :D

Yes, the first thing you need to do is connect your Wii to the Internet. The easiest way of doing this is using a WiFi connection.

If you don't have WiFi, then I believe you can buy a Wii ethernet adaptor from Nintendo, which would enable you to connect a network cable to your Wii.

You use "System Settings" menu on your Wii to setup the connection to the internet, then go into the online store to buy "points", then download games.
Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!

Simple way is it will have a little ariel sticking out the back.

Chances are if you don't know then it hasn't.

If you go to the Nintendo website it gives you all the options there

Its not your PC that needs to be wireless, you need a wireless router. Which model of router (if any) do you have, I'm sure if you post it someone will be able to tell you.

The sky router is definately WIFI :D

you need to make sure you type the wpa key you will find on the bottom of the router in capitals, thats really important.

Let me know if you still cant do it and i will try it on our Wii to see how you do it.

Also for points, check all your games for the little scratchcards, these can be input on the nintendo website for nintendo points and then the nintendo points can be used to buy Wii points (I think its something like 1000 nintendo points gets 100 Wii points)
