Well I don't want anyone to end up losing their job (my other half was considered for redundancy prior to christmas, but was ok in the end), but if one of the big retailers had to go I would prefer it to be tesco than any of the others. They have become a monster dictating to farmers et al and sitting on huge banks of land which could be used for so much more (allotments all around lol).

Many of the firms that posters have listed are those that have put many of our countryfolk out of work anyway, either by sourcing product from overseas or outsourcing the call centre etc. Sadly people will lose jobs (me included) as the economy shrinks, but as poor firms close better firms will fill the void[strike]Debt @ LBM 04/07 £14,804[/strike]01/08 [strike]£10,472[/strike]now debt free:j

Although sorry to see Woolies go of course, my experience of shopping there was endless queuing while slow staff spent their time chatting and doing anything other then SERVE THE CUSTOMER!!!!
The shame is that although the lazy, arrogant, and downright nasty staff (and managers) should go - the axe won't fall like that.
NTL, Barclays, British Gas, any of the railways, the Police, endless...
Actually anywhere I have needed to ask for help on something and obviously failed to get it at all. Seems to be a rarity. Perhaps we should start a new, obviously much shorter, thread on decent companies0 -
BT!
Because their customer service is the worst in the world, their staff are ignorant and rude and the least helpful people I have ever known! They have messed up EVERY SINGLE order/service I have placed with them in the last 2 years and refused to accept their mistake!
Would happily see them go belly up!
I feel the need to support mum2g1b on this one.
I'll never ever go back to BT. So many reasons.. not enough time..
My blood pressure goes up just thinking about them :mad:0 -
There is only one organisation I would like to see bankrupted - the Labour Party.
But then they already are aren't they? On the brink financially, already there morally!
I'd also like to see Blair in court over Iraq and Brown doing Community Service, we can all wish...!!!0
