Companies will fail anyway, but why wish them over the edge? If you don't like them, just don't shop there.
It's a bit difficult to avoid if you've already handed over your hard earned wonga
This thread was more about "If someone has to go under (which they apparently do and are at the mo) who would you RATHER it be? You know? In a, like, lighthearted "wouldn't want to wish hardship on anyone" sort of way, geddit?
Personally, I think poor old Woolies didn't deserve it, not got a bad word to say about them, but there are some real rip-off artists and appalling customer services and they are the ones, if any have to go, that IMO should be top of the pile.
Don't forget also, a company IS it's staff and has a duty to train and educate them in how to treat customers. Ultimately the staff are the ones who are rude and unhelpful and who are ripping us off - a little bit of humility never hurt anyone, in fact knowing jobs are scarce might actually improve cunstomer service:T0 -

And may I just add British Airways for all the obvious reasons and a few personal ones too:j0

I do get it, and I do realise it's light-hearted, but that's still my point of view.
I hate Tesco with a passion. The biggest retail business in Britain, yet they haven't bothered to fix the lighting in their car park near me which has been out since October. They issue their staff with high vis jackets, yet mere punters risk being run over just wheeling their trolleys to their car and I'm not going to buy a soddin' high vis jacket just to shop there. Hate them, hell yes! Wish them out of business, still no...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? nobody if it means their poor staff are going to face redundancy and hardship!
That's the human side... but what if the staff has been trained to treat the customers like crap and try to cheat them off their money?
As per my case with Phones4u, I vowed never to deal with them ever again after they failed to give me my cashback even though I sent everything in and spent a long time trying to reason with their staff. No sympathy at all.0 -
None of them: because whilst a number of them may deserve to go bust, their staff do not deserve to become redundant."there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0

Sky TV for paying so much for sport that there is hardly any on free to view channels - especially cricket.0

Some do - many areas of customer service are atrocious. How many times have customer service staff said they will call you back but failed to do so?0
