I'd like to see Santa get his P45, this year I got one bar of chocolate and it was finished by 0800. He is totally incompetent and the only sack he deserves is to be sacked.

I dont like to see any jobs go especially in the UK, but any job outside the UK can go has long has it creates a new job back in the UK.

We all have are personal little battles, with companies in the uk, who we have dealings with, but when they are paying are fellow countrymen wages to feed their familys and pay for their houses, i think this thread is a bit wrong.

You imagine how you would feel if someone came on here and said i wish your employer would close and make all the employees redundent, because of one personal experiance.

Ive had some real bad dealings with setanta, but i wouldnt wish for all of setantas workers to be made redundent and them to close down.

On the flipside, I had amazingly good service from Hotel Chocolat this morning (present didn't arrive). They answered the phone in under 3 rings, apologised profusely, spoke clearly and politely, offered a better item since the one I ordered has now sold out and told me they'd send it recorded delivery this time!! Absolute pleasure to deal with time and again and a truly inspiring British company.

Completely agree with you about Hotel Chocolat. Last year i bought some items off their website and was sent something which was out of date, within a week they had sent me a 'gesture of goodwill' gift worth £25 (the original item only cost £7!!!

I wouldnt want anyone to lose their job BUT....

T mobile - my god where to start!!! For 17 months now i have received the worst customer service and mess up after mess up. Now a month before my contract ends (and i told them i wont be staying with them), i had 54 missed calls in the space of 3 days off them, when i eventually answered it was to offer me a new deal to renew my contract.....no blo*dy chance!!!
    God they make me cross.
    10/10 for persistancy though!!
