DD - I was always made to eat my puddings at school - I was literally force fed them... as a result I just don't eat puddings at all.

I realised today - although I don't class myself as an emotional eater, I would normally spend the last hour of the working day thinking about my tea....and drooling:o

I was made to eat beetroot at school by an evil dinner lady.. threw up all over the table. She never tried that one again:rotfl:

    Still can't eat beetroot though.:o

Thanks Sammy, I realised today while in Boots that I can't even do slimfast because of the soya. I'm ok with soy lecthin because that has the soy protein removed but anything else is a big no no. I doubt I can do cambridge but thanks for asking.

    God Sammy that's !!!!!

I don't think I am an emotional eater either, not unhealthily so anyway - I mean I am as guilty as anyone for digging into chocolate with PMT but not to excess, for me it's about appetite, stopping when full, and obsessing over the food shopping. I think it stems from the early days of having Elliot, no car, bit isolated, constantly worrying about what we could eat, and having no enthusiasm for cooking. I also blame OH for his pasta measuring, he is under orders now to weight our portions before cooking - I am the same, do enough for 5 when there's only 3 of us.

And water! Drink more water - that is forever my motto. It helps with so much, appetite, headaches, tiredness - amazing stuff really!

If only it tasted of vanilla rum and ginger ale (new favourite tipple!)

I am definitely an emotional eater. When I went through the carp with Cruella, I put the 5 stone back on I'd only just lost in just a few months.

Sammy I dont think I could cope with not eating food so good luck on your quest:grin:

Jinky - I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders today:D no worrying about what to eat, whether its 'good' or 'bad'. Have I eaten enough or not.....give me an option and I will take the wrong one every time....

It is only day one though:rotfl: ask me again next week...;)
