Hey All,

Just spoke to the court and my confirmed appointment is on Monday the 9th.

I have to say i feel so much better now, its like a massive weight has been lifted knowing that everything will be sorted soon, i hope!!!!!!

Can I be an honourary member? My OH just called me and told me he has his date - 17th March.

I'll send him in to join this when he gets home from work tonight.

Im sure no one will mind you posting here with your thoughts on the OH's situation and progress, congrats on the court date!!! Was so happy when mine was confirmed this morning!

Ive got just 11 days left till my court date and I am terrified - never EVER been so worried in my life, having palpitations constantly and feel like my head is going to explode. I dont know what worries me so much to be honest, I know Im not going to get locked up or made to pay all my debts there and then if my BR is declined... but I think thats the problem. Not knowing whats going to happen. I have (and have since being a teenager) a fairly bad Social Anxiety particulalry in strange places with unfamiliar people! I wont even have anyone with me on the day so goodness knows what state I am going to be in. Just wish I could wake up and it all be over what ever the result.

Hi raradel , the anxiety is normal so please do try not to worry too much. It is highly unlikely that your BR will be declined - it only happens for two reasons a) you are not insolvent b) you do not understand the implications of going BR.

The day will be over with soon, I had to do it on my own too and it is not easy but you will get through it. The court staff will be absolutely fine with you and will not look down on you at all. And just read on here about lots of others court experiences and you will see that the majority (probably 99%) are positive experiences. Best wishes and hugs!

Hi all, not posted much on here, but read lots. Got my date as 4th March, next Wednesday. Just want to get it over with now! Can I join?

Just one point with the forms etc,use the CAB they are great, they did it all for me. There is no way I would have been able to do that on my own.

not too long to go now and it will be done. I kind of wish I had gone to CAB to get them to help with the forms but I managed in the end. Good tip though about getting CAB to help.

Can I join the March Gang? I will be going br in March. I am in Scotland so slightly different system but hoping to post in forms on 9th March after DD's have left old acc. So it should happen soon after that.:eek: :eek: :eek: Not that I am panicking or anything!!
