  • A cheeky little BUMP and a massive HI to all "March-09-ers". 8 months seems to have just vanished (well to me anyway). I have not been passed to the RTLU (as I see many on here are) so not sure if thats good or bad... Had a letter re BI in June, but not heard anything since OH replied saying was interested to buy... Had a letter to buy my own life policy back for 50 of my precious (received this week).... No hint whatsoever of ED (but given a headline I saw on Sky News today, it's no surprise as ORs must be swamped)... And all quiet other than that... Heres to 4 more months passing by as quickly.

Lost my job dure to climate, but fortunate to found work doing 2 others to make ends meet. Massively long hours, but family needs looking after, and my IPA to try and repay some of the debt I built up sits on my shoulders. Still paying the IPA set, so thats something..

and I keep checking back on this site as often as I can, and try to help where I can, but the real regulars (you know who you are) who always provide the most un-biased, un-judging and useful of information are still here, and still posting strongly

This site is incredible, the people great.

To all those going through BR (of DR) or thinking about it - good luck, and please ask any and all q's on this site - no matter how trivial you think. The re-assurance and help you get from here is tremendous.

All the best to everyone on the site

    Captain
  • Hi

The 8 months have gone really quick.

Does not seem 5 minutes ago that we were all dreading our court dates and the BR process. No ED for me or no IPA so plodding along nicely ATM and trying not to let the fact that I am BR occupy every waking moment.

Hope all the other Marchies are doing OK :hello:

Hi YP and Captain Longbeard. No ED for me either or an IPA, you would of thought we would have been ED'd by now. Perhaps we are sitting with the dust on the OR's shelf, still life goes on;)

I'm still here - waiting patiently (or not!) Nearly there and we survived. Might still get ED yet, who knows. Examiner said she would try but suspected because of time scale AD might come through before ED completed. Had all the paperwork for ED well before Christmas but because I disputed an IPA twice it took longer to sort - however common sense prevailed and I didn't get the IPA.
  • Me too,
So wanting to be discharged - but guess we are going for the full 12 months - but they have taken everything they could financially within about eight weeks - and then sent me an ED to be sent back in July - and nothing more has been heard. Still soon be March again
  • Hi All

Yes, Me & DH are still waiting for AD.

I am not AD until April but DH is March.

We have during our BR been offered a council property, which we have been in since November, and life is ticking over for us, and we are a lot happier since we went BR.

Neither of us have a IPA, so that is one thing to be thankful for and I was able to keep my car to. Good job to as where we moved to, we need a car as we are now quite rural and about 12 miles from DD school etc.

Last we heard from OR was that they are no longer acting as our Trustees and to just let the BR, work its course, until AD.

The only creditor letters we now get are for the previous tenant, who seems to be in a lot of debt problems, just waiting for the bailiffs to turn up for them and if this does happen, I can stand up and say its NOT me!!!! If I do ever come across the previous tenant, then I will direct them in this direction.

No more hassle from creditors etc for us and I can answer the phone now without a lump in my throat, wondering who was chasing me!!

Again, as others have said, we cannot thank you all on here enough, as with your help, you have managed to make a nightmare turn into a mild dream (if you can call it that!)

    Many Many Thanks xxx
