Has anyone use the online dispute form with Equifax?
I did and got no confirmation.
I know they have 28 days to resolve issues but would have preferred some sort of confirmation e.g. email.
Has anyone else used this?0 -
The so-called "online" dispute only leads me to a PDF file which I have to print, and then post/fax to them! To add insult to injury it even says at the bottom of it "alternatively, you can do this online...". Seems that they used to have an online dispute system but they've quietly withdrawn it?
Thanks for the link in this thread, I've done mine today and it still works for £3.50. Someone has removed me from the Electoral Roll since my previous Equifax report in May showed me properly on the Register >:( >:( hence my going through their dispute section.0 -

When I moved I electronically told Experian and Equifax of my new address. They both requested I send in a letter with proof of address and updated immediately on receipt.
You may find this better than waiting for your info to sift through the process...The above facts belong to everybody; the opinions belong to me; the distinction is yours to draw...0 -

I did this also and my details were updated immediately. The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -

I think you can sign up for a triple service and get three credit reports for £69.99p. Again cancel after one month and get your money back. You then get three reports for free - from Equifax, Experian plus another credit agency.
Which triple service is this, please? The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -
If you sign up for the CreditWatch Gold which is free for 30 days, then you will be able to use the on-line dispute procedure.
Obviously you need to be careful to cancel on time as there is a £59.99 annual fee.0 -
